I was just five years old when I first got hooked on fishing. I started by chasing mullet and garfish up on the Central Coast with my Dad, John and Grandad.

And the day I caught my first bream it felt like I was landing a marlin! These days, I spend a lot of my spare time teaching my four daughters and my nieces and nephews how to cast a line.

And on my television show 'Escape with ET' I've been lucky enough to take dozens of kids fishing right across Australia.

This book is all about fishing for kids - the tackle, the techniques, and a few of the secret tricks of the trade.
